Bandung Design Biennale is an initiative arises from a fundamental idea. It is purely to implement the potential power of design. The initiators believe that design industry could delivering continuous real on human culture, moreover the universe through responsible economic system engineering.
The acceptance of Bandung to Unesco Creative Cities Network (UCCN) in December 2015 as The City of Design is a challenge to actually optimised the city’s creative potential and increase the well being of it’s people. Now we are recognized as a city whose creativity has an impact on social, economic, politic, culture development. But in the future, it will beyond than that.

Planned to present a series of inspiring program ranging from exhibitions, market, public shows and conferences that can be enjoyed by various groups of visitors, 30 more programs, will fill up this series of event, as an inspiring destination agenda.
